School
I swear, all of my professors are under the mistaken impression that they're the only class I'm taking.
You know the triangle that has 'Good Grades' in one corner, 'Social Life' in another corner, and 'Sleep' in the third corner, then says pick two?
I don't feel as though I'm even getting two corners. I'm sleep deprived (like last night I got so upset over the tiniest thing and didn't know why, then as I was almost crying I realized it's because I'm so tired. Everything seems ten times worse when you're exhausted.), I've never had much of a social life but the small chances I come by of that are hard to take because of all the studying I need to do, so I at least better be making good grades.
I gave up going to see "The Hang Over 2" tonight where they were showing it for FREE in the student center because I have so much that needs to be done.
I really wished I didn't have to work this weeked. The 13 hours I'll spend at Cajun's on Friday and Saturday would be better spent at my house studying. :/
Enough wasted time though, I need to get back to my books...
Essay One is due for Comp on Tuesday. Wednesday is the first A/P exam! The following Tuesday (the 20th) I have my first Sociology test and I have midterm exam one for history.
I don't know when my first algebra test is... Oh well.

Hang in there Reilly. At times, the professors made it very difficult in the beginning to weed out people who aren't really interested or dedicated in the class. It's been a few months since you've done schoolwork and there's a transition period for your brain, body, and behavior to adjust.
Many of my friends who are REALLY good students (the ones that score 4.0) usually get adequate sleep. Without enough sleep, you can't focus in the classroom, or in your homework/test. I would highly advise never to cram or burn midnight oil b4 the exam. (Made that mistake one too many times). You're a good student, who don't procrastinate.
Lastly, I know you're aiming for perfection, for 100%. Unlike high school, where 100% is more common, in college, it's not. Please don't overburden yourself; do aim for it but don't beat yourself up if you don't get it, esp. if you DID put in your best (and i am sure you do)
Since you recognize your lack of sleep, try to go to bed b4 midnight; otherwise, you might turn into a pumpkin. jk
Hey Reilly, there is enough time to do it all but YOU have to make the time. Quit before midnight, get a good night's sleep, wake up fresh and get ready to run again. It will all work out in the long run. I wish you the best. As a teacher myself, better sleep makes you a better student.
As time goes on, you'll find you can study and work faster
promise, it gets better!
Find the time to get some sleep.....prolonged sleep deprivation will cause the brain to exhibit the symptoms of mental illness....
@sf2slc - @traveler - @GreekPhysique - Thanks guys! I hope you're right
