Fear
Today started off as a fairly average day.
I had history. Comp was canceled because my professor has pneumonia. That meant I was able to get lunch today. I went to the taco bell on campus and waited 20 minutes in line to get my food (freakin’ sucked). Then after that I went to the computer lab to work on some of the online math homework I have, while waiting until it was time for sociology.
With five minutes until sociology was to start, I decided to head that way. I packed up my things and headed out the door. As I approached the door I saw him, but thought “No, it couldn’t be”. I exited the second door and my suspicion was confirmed. There was Richard, my ex, walking right up to me. Thank God he didn’t say anything, but we locked eyes and my stomach rolled. He entered the library and I quickly continued walking to my next class.
I hate how the mere sight of him still can set fear into me like no one should be able to. If I hadn’t been heading to class I probably would’ve had a melt down.
I’m now extremely paranoid on campus.
It was 4 years and three days ago that we met…
With such a large campus and so many students attending there, why of all people, do I have to run into him? :/

I’m sorry my love; I’m so sorry.
I know how that is.
*hugs*
I still have those feelings when I come across people that I don’t like or gave me bad memories.
I think it is normal.
Don’t worry too much about it, just focus on your future!
*hug* Sorry to hear, some people we’re not able to get completely over.
He hurts you, he’s DEAD.
Oh boy I know how you feel, I know if I saw a certain person i’d prob break down and cry…even though we’re over them…sometimes we never get over the shitty things that they did to us. -hugs-
Hunny it’s okay. <3 Chances are since you hadn’t seen him before, you won’t (hopefully) see him too often. *hugs* It’ll be okay, don’t be afraid babe.
oh no, he’s in the same school as you? Isnt he like 3-4 years older?
I hope you don’t bump into him too often. Glad that wasn’t much of an awkward situation.
You shouldn’t fear him; you’re older, stronger and wiser. you can handle him, i am sure…. he’s not going to harm you anymore, physically or mentally.
@opticalnoise - Thanks sweetie *hugs back*
@Hinase - Thanks. I’m hoping since I’m not normally in the library at that time I’ll be successful in never running into him again.
@marcusjoh - Thanks (:
@RighteousBruin - Aww, I love you
@UnconventionalButterfly - Thanks Trisha! I think the main thing about it that sucked was the fact that it was around this time exactly four years ago. Just brings up the emotions more.
@SentimentalDoll - Thank you Jordan
@sf2slc - Four years, however when we were together he dropped out. Then a year later I heard he was attending again. I’m not sure what year he is now, but he’s back.
@mypandabear - Yeah, I hate running into exes or even people I know a lot of the time. Hopefully not.
