Fed up
Christmas morning Trey came over to my house for a little to open presents with us.
After that we drove an hour out to his Nana’s. Bad weather was coming earlier than expected so after an hour there, we went back to his house. It snowed and iced and I had to stay the night. (Not that I minded.)His Dad’s been being an ass and I’m fucking sick of him. He usually makes jokes and is playful (at peoples expense), but it seems personal today and I’m fed up with it. Could be because his diabetic ass is pigging out on sugary treats and his sugar is all out of whack. But whatever, he’s a grown man, if he wants to eat like he’s not diabetic that’s on him.I was suppose to work 7-4pm today but I was stranded and it was closed. I don’t know what’s up with tomorrow, I’m scheduled to 5-9:30pm, if they’re open I’m going to try to get Trey to drive me, but his car isn’t really meant for ice… it’s meant for speed lol. There’s like a foot of snow (some places, other is like 7-8 inches) and underneath it is ice.I’m reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn and OMG this is amazing and twisted and crazy! And Trey re-installed Rosetta Stone for me so I’m working on German again. I did lesson one today! So far it’s easy.Anyways, I’m stranded here, luckily I brought extra clothes on the off chance that might happen. I didn’t however bring my coffee maker or the supplies of food I normally bring. Damnit.I’ll save Christmas presents and what-nots for a different update. I’mma try to get Trey to stop gaming and come to bed with me now.

Hey Riley. I’ve missed a few of your posts, so I’ll have to catch up on my reading. Lol. I hope you had a great Christmas. Take care.
I am glad to hear that you’re ok. Arkansas has so much snow this past storm.
Dallas only had like a couple of inches and the accidents weren’t back, but i heard that there’s like 7 inch in Little Rock and 10 in in Fayatteville. You did get a white X’mas after all.
Since we don’t get white Christmas that often, I am trying to enjoy it but by today, everything should melt and be gone. It was a great memory.
As for your FIL, diabetic is difficult; you might get your legs amputated and the disease also leaks to blindness. Try taking care of someone in such a shape. That’s how my grandpa died. He might use humor as a way to alivated his pain… some people just don’t have a good sense of humor.
The sure sign of serious case of diabetes is wounds on the legs that won’t heal.
I hope you had a fun Christmas. What kind of work are you doing now?
