Also, why the fuck does she have an induction date set… they don’t normally induce (especially on the first baby) unless it’s overdue. She’s not in medical danger or anything.. she just wants to comfy again. Her doctors an idiot too.

I had an induction appointment set up. But that was only after my daughter was past her due date… Sounds kinda weird.
I understand wanting the pregnancy to be over with. You can’t sleep, move, or do much of anything during those last weeks. It’s very uncomfortable. But I don’t think I’d ever induce unless I absolutely had to. It can put the baby in danger.

@sassyjessie - umm, because her dumb ass is putting her own comfort before the safety of her child! This girl is so irresponsible and she’s about to about to bring another human being into this world. There’s a bunch of other shit too, but I’ll just keep it at that.
How far along is she? And do you know when she set the induction for?
@breathe_think_be_thin - She’s 34 or 35 weeks i think. And I wanna say the induction is for the 38 or 39th week perhaps. She’s been underweight for most of it (because she doesn’t want to get fat so she’s purposely not eating as much as she knows she should -.-) So it’s not like the baby is getting too big and is in critical condition at all. I just don’t understnd why the doctor would set an induction date so early (it’s been set for a ccouple of months) and why he wouldn’t wait to set one up until she was past her due date.
@mypandabear – okay, doctors should know not to svhedule an induction so far ahead. And like you said, typically inductions are set if you are overdue. But technically a baby is full term at 37 weeks, so if she was induced at 38, her baby is fully developed. Maybe the doc has a medical reason to have her deliver sooner.
If she’s not gaining weight it’s possible they set up an induction because it’s led to the baby no longer growing.. I know that’s one of the reasons some doctors induce around then. I’ve never heard of a doctor inducing that early for a healthy pregnancy, but idk. & I will say that I was around 35 weeks when I started doing all those old wives tales to ‘induce’ myself. I think most people do, lol. Pineapple, spicy food, sex, exercise, ect. But regardless of what you do the baby won’t come until it wants to.. I learned that the hard way!
