  • Short rant

All I need to be happy right now is for Sean to move the "F" out and then for Connor to move into his room so I wouldn't have to listen to him playing his guitar while I'm trying to studying for my freakin' tests tomorrow!

Because unlike Sean I go to college and am trying to better my education so I can move out at some point and get a job! Something he apparently has no intentions of EVER doing!!!

  • Quick college question

Hey, so I know some of you are nursing majors/nurses on here, and was hoping you could help me out.

While I'm not exactly certain that's what I want to become, I do want to do something in the medical health profession field (i.e. cytology, xray tech., radiology, maybe nursing, etc.) What I was wondering is...

What level of math is required for those kinds of degrees?

I use to think I liked math, but I'm quickly changing my mind... it might just be because we're on functions and graphs right now and I don't like/suck at that stuff, but who knows. Hopefully we move on from this area soon.

Anyone know the answer? You don't have to be a nurse/nursing major to answer!

  • *drum roll please*

My day's been okay. I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 10:40am, which was nice considering I only got 3 hours of sleep the night before. I feel as though I wasn't very productive today... I don't know, it went by fast.

I went to the grocery store.

Studied my sociology flash cards for a good bit.

Finished section 2.6 of my math homework.

Took a math quiz and did horribly the first time! Took it the second time and still did really bad, but improved from the first time... which isn't saying much.

Had a good dinner with my family. Steak, salad, and baked beans :)

    AND

my professor finally posted the grades on blackboard! First anatomy and physiology exam score....

    88!

Not too shabby if you ask me. Especially considering how the average score normally is in the low 60s. Mr. Aguiars (supplemental instructor) even told us that last year someone scored a 12 on an exam! Woooww. Yeah, if I got a 12 on something... I'd bawl my eyes out for days and possibly even drop out.

  • Sleepysleepysleepysleepy

    I am soooooo tired.

I only got like three hours of sleep last night.

Instead of taking personal responsibility, I'd like to blame:

    @DJ_Ginsu, @armywife4life2007, @sasgal, @ctaretz, @itisallgravy, @tjlittlegirl, @grammarboy, @stupid_systemus, @thethinkingperson, @quantumstorm, @garistotle, @LKJSlain, and a few other people who's usernames I can't recall. If you're offended I forgot you, drop a comment and I'll add you.

Oh, and @NaniMau didn't show up until really late, but I'll still tag you

So very tired, working until 11:00pm tonight... it shan't be fun.

However, last night was super fun! I guess it makes up for it.. a little

  • Connor <3

My little brother just turned sixteen a little under a month ago. While he isn't into politics that much, when he does discuss them he seems to have conservative-republican views. This being said, I find it hilarious when people refer to Republicans as rich selfish snobs who don't care about anyone but ourselves.

First off, my family is not rich at all. And I have friends who are well off and republicans and some that are well off and democratic. Financial situation doesn't necessarily dictate your political opinion. But on to my point...

Connor just turned sixteen. He's been wanting to get a job for a while but wasn't old enough. He volunteers at our church's food pantry which helps provide food for the needy in the neighborhood (the church isn't in the best area). [I don't have this fact straight for sure, but I think he heard of this guy there, if not he was mentioned in church service...] This poor Mexican man is in bad condition and needing medical help. I believe he has some sort of cancer but can't afford treatment. [I guess Connor could've heard of him from the free medical clinic my church started last year?] Anyways...

Connor is now trying to get a job, not so he can earn money to buy him whatever his frivolous wants are, but so he can help this man he doesn't even know that well get the medical help he needs.

I've never been prouder to call him my brother.

  • Too long to pulse.

Evidentally, I've never gone through my email address book and gotten rid of unwanted people.

So thank you hotmail, for reminding me that my ex's birthday is in four days.

    I really appreciate that.    -.-

  • Choppy

I read chapter 5 in history, did some of my math homework, then went to type my first draft of essay two. I had already written it Tuesday morning, I just needed to transfer it to computer so I could print it out. After copying it over, I realize it's a complete dud.

Yay, so I had to brain storm some more. Figure out a new topic. {Along the lines of childhood memory or experience.} And redo the whole thing. It took basically two hours and I got 2 and 1/3 pages done. It'll work for a first draft.

Still not 100% satisfied, but it's the best I got. I don't care for this topic, I could've worked magic if childhood didn't haven't to stop at 12 but the professors definition. Give me something for age fourteen and I can go to town with it!

This means I didn't get any sociology reading done, so I'm getting up early to finish that.

I got a 100 on my A/P lab quiz again and I'm feeling pretty confident on my first A/P exam. I'm hoping I pulled a low A- high B.

I can't wait to get my grade back.

Home schooling spoiled me... I did my test in the morning, my Mom graded it in the afternoon and I knew that evening or the next morning at the very latest.

Tired... blah.. sorry for choppy entry... good night.

  • Day = MADE! {Secrets response}

I happened to check facebook really quickly after checking my email and saw Elle commenting to Krisko about the newest Secrets edition. I eagerly went to check them out, despite having much studying to do.

Imagine my surprise when I can across these...

    D'aww

And even more to my surprise...

    D'AAAWWWW!!!

    AAWWWWWW! C:

I haven't the slightest clue who you are, but that for real just made my day!

    I'm seriously touched. <3

    {Confess who you are, if you feel like it }

  • Lots to do

Once again, no time for a proper update...

    100_4232

I voted for my first time ever yesterday!

And I spent all afternoon (4:30-11:00) studying over Anatomy and Physiology! I have my first exam today so

    WISH ME LUCK!

Once I get back home today, I have chapter five to read in history and in sociology, I need to copy my history notes from Thursday for someone who missed (ugh), I need to type out my first draft for essay two, and if time permits (which it probably won't) I have algebra homework. [Algebra will probably be pushed to the side until tomorrow though.]

Fun day ahead of me... probably won't be on much; but I promise to catch up when I get a break!

  • HERE'S THE EXCITING NEWS!!!

Hey, this morning I promised you exciting news, so I'm taking a very quick break from my anatomy and physiology exam studying to post it for you.

I hadn't weighed myself in a bit simply because it hadn't concerned me all that much, but the last time I had checked I was 97 pounds.

This morning I decided, what the heck, why not check what it is now.

Ladies and gentleman, I present to you....

    100 pounds! :D

Can I get a HELL YEAH!

Compared to last November when I weighed in 15 pounds lighter, I have to say I've done quite well.
